Emma, Veterinary Assistant/Technician

Emma’s passion for animals started early — at just three years old, she proudly announced that she wanted to be an “animal doctor.” Growing up on a small farm only strengthened that calling. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science from Penn State University, where she also completed an internship at the university’s horse barns focusing on reproductive operations.

Emma brings that same enthusiasm and curiosity to her work every day. She has a special interest in large animal and equine reproductive medicine and plans to apply to veterinary school within the next year.

Outside the clinic, Emma loves spending time outdoors with her three younger brothers and two dogs — Maggie, a 14-year-old Boxer/Foxhound mix, and Odin, a 140-pound black Lab/Mastiff who still thinks he’s a lap dog. She enjoys traveling, golfing, cooking, baking, and cheering on her favorite teams — the PSU Nittany Lions, Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers.
